This time at Cardz TV the challenge is "Let it Snow". CREATE A CHRISTMAS CARD USING SNOWFLAKES AND/OR A SNOWMAN. Here is what I created...
And here is the whole card...
I used my Cricut to cut out the snowflake and letters. I used a stamp for the snowman then colored and cut it out adding a couple of gem stones for his buttons and a smile to his face. The sign is free hand cut out and stamped with a stamp from Mary's set called "Happy Days". I added the snow drifts from another stamp and then used glue and fine glitter to "dazzle" them! I used a Sakura gel pen to add the glitter look to the snowflake. My card base is cut from a piece of white card stock. I added the plaid overlay from my scrap pile....
Check out the challenge and all of the fun creations by the other members of the Design Team at Cardz TV

Color My Christmas...
Cardz TV challenge this time is to make a Christmas card using only the colors: red, pink, green and white. Here is what I created:
My stamped image is from Tiddly Inks. Isn't she adorable? I stamped her onto kraft paper then colored with Copic markers and a white gel pen. The heart was stamped with red ink from Stampin Up and then cut out. I used pop dots to place it on the card front. My sentiment is from the Cardz TV stamp set; "Just Saying". I used an embossing folder and my Cuttlebug to emboss the pink edging with hearts. I then used some ink to distress them a bit. My final touch was drawing a border around the kraft paper with a brown journaling pen.
Here is the second card that I created for this challenge:
For this card I used a Unity stamp with Olive Green ink from Stampin Up for my owl. I cut him out and used pop dots to place him on the card. My card base for both cards is white card stock that I cut into A2 card size. I used a piece of designer paper that I had in my scrap pile for the horizontal lines. My sentiment was also stamped in the same Olive Green ink. I distressed the edges of the sentiment and then placed on another scrap of paper in a complimentary color. Then I cut out three hearts from the same scrap paper as my horizontal lines paper. These were glued down in a row and outlined with a gold gel pen.
I also used the same pen to draw dashed lines on the top part of my horizontal paper.
I hope you feel intrigued to join us in this challenge. Please check out my fellow designers creation at Cardz TV and join in the fun! You just might win a Cardz TV stamp set of your choice!
Have a great weekend everyone and stay warm!

Giving Thanks...
This time around the challenge at CardzTV is to create something giving thanks. I thought with Thanksgiving right around the corner and our neighbors to the North(Canada)just celebrating their Thanksgiving I would create a Thanksgiving card. So without further ado here it is:
I used two different stamp sets from Cardz TV for the sentiments;
My card base is 4 1/2" by 5 1/4". The striped background paper is from Michael's. I cut my turkey out of the Cricut cartridge "Autumn Celebrations" using my Expression. A little self stick glitter tape, three "dots", and my image placed on pop dots and my card was finished... I left the inside blank so I could write a nice note to my nephew when I send it.
Check out the challenge and all of my team mates creations at CardzTV, then join in the fun! You might just be the winner of one of Mary's wonderful stamp sets! The challenge runs for two weeks ending November 21st.

Cardztv challenge..."To Die For" !
Hello all my fellow crafters! Today and for the next two weeks there is a new challenge over at Cardz TV. We are challenging you to get out your die cutting machine or one of your dies and join us in our Halloween challenge "To Die For". I created two different cards using a new stamp set called "Frankly Frightful". Have a look:
I added lots of bling to those spider trails and also to the witches hat which was cut using my Cricut Expression. The sentiment was embossed with black glossy embossing powder from Stampin' Up.
Here is a look at the second card I made using the same sentiment set:
I used a CTMH stamp for the pumpkin which was inked using a Tim Holtz distress ink. The bats and the sign are both cut out using my Expression once again. I added some googly eyes to those bats for some added fun. The possibilities are endless with this new stamp set, "Frankly Frightful"
Go on over to the Cardz TV blog and check out all of the cool creations done by my team mates and then plan on joining in the fun. Have a great Friday everyone!

Yahoo! Back to Fun Times!!
Summer is finally just a memory as we all say Hello to Autumn. This means crisp fall smells like apples and beautiful falling leaves... It also means that I am back with CARDZ TV after the summer hiatus. This time around the team was broken into three different categories. First are the Card Designers (that's me!), the 3D Team, and the Gallery Designers. Today I am going to share a card I created using various papers from my stash and a sentiment from Cardz TV.
My papers are from Creative Imagination(polka dot), Stampin' Up (solid tan) and the striped is a piece of paper that I bought in a pack of loose papers at a garage sale (so I don't know the company). The brown ribbon is from Michael's as well as the buttons and twine. My stamped banners are from a stamp set from CTMH. The inks I used are from Stampin' Up. The sentiment is from the Cardz TV stamp set "Good Times". A little Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink was used around all the edges of the paper to give them more of an aged look.
I thought this card would be perfect for a guy as it isn't too "frilly and fluffy". Of course it would be perfect for a gal also!
Have a great day and be sure to go over to Cardz TV to see all of the wonderful cards made by my team mates!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Paperminutes - Fall (my colors are all representative of Fall)
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
Oldie But Goodie - Anything Old (my stamp sets, paper and ribbon)
Through the Craft Door (TTCD)- Anything goes

I'm Back...!
Hello everyone. I am so sorry that I was away most of the summer. I had such a busy summer that I didn't even have time to sit and blog! Lots of good family times and a trip to Las Vegas with my girlfriend where I also spent time with more of my family !
I am now off of my wonderful long vacation and back to the "real world". Back to school! My students this year are such little sweethearts. I know I will love the school year!
Anyway... I did have time to work on some things this summer. So I will share some of my creations here with you.
This card was done with a Wiff of Joy stamp that I bought at a garage sale this summer. Isn't that mouse adorable? His name is Henry... The sentiment is from Close to My Heart.
This card again uses a sentiment stamp from Close to MY Heart. I tried to do a simple card, not sure if it is but it turned out alright I guess. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes (my 1st card)

Christmas in July
This is a very sad post for me today! It's a sad post because I love to play at Jellypark Friends. It's a sad post because Claire has made the very difficult decision to close down the Jellypark Challenge Blog. The good news is that the store will be staying open. We'll still be able to get hold of all of her fabulous images. Here is my creation...
I used little pie tins that I painted. To these I added two different images from Jellypark that were colored with Copic markers. A few little doodads for embellishments and they are finished. I really like how they turned out. Here is a close up of each ornament...
Please join us for our last challenge and come on over and see all of the great creations made by our DT. You should also check out the store for some of these wonderful images to purchase for your own...

Beside the Seaside...
This week the challenge over at Jellypark Friends is to create a card or other paper related craft that shows off the seaside or any beach related picture. Have fun with it. Here is the card I created using the boy in sailboat image from Jellypark. I also stamped a whale from CTMH and some cute starfish. Then I put my card together.
I used Copic markers for coloring all the images. I ripped brown paper and ran it through my Cuttlebug with a polka dot folder. The edges were then distressed using Tim Holtz tea dye ink. Three little stars were punched out from a Studio G punch. The sentiment is also from CTMH.
Come on over and join the fun! I also want to wish everyone a wonderful summer!!!

Friends...
Hi everyone. So sorry that I haven't been around in the last couple of weeks. The end of the school year is winding down and it seems as if I haven't enough time in a day! LOL
I wanted to share a card that I made using a new image from Berenice Rendon.
I colored using my Copic markers and Spica glitter pens. My flowers were made by me. The butterfly and vine are from dies. The sentiment is from an old vellum piece that I have had hanging around for so long that I can't even guess who created it! The card base is actually one that comes with the pretty pink design on the front already. That made it super easy to put this card together! The card base is from Recollections.
I would like to enter the following:
The Jess Challenge - Use your favorite colors (I adore pinks!)
Have a great weekend and enjoy the weather everyone!

Here is what I created:
I used ribbon to tie the box closed. Nestibilities were made for the scalloped circles. My ink is from Stampin' Up.I used a tutorial found on Splitcoast stampers here for my box and cards.(I think I changed the sizes a little bit though)

My sentiment was stamped and the front was done.
Here is the inside...

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You !
This time around the challenge at Cardz TV is to create a thank you card. Pretty fun one and I mean...who doesn't need a thank you card at one time or another?! I created my card using my Cricut Expression machine and Create a Critter cartridge to make my tree and squirrel. The sentiments come from two different Cardz TV stamp sets..."It's All About You" and "Ticket Talk 2".
The stars on the tree are from a Studio G punch and the grass was cut out of another cartridge (can't remember which one). The gems were placed on with glue dots and a white gel pen was use to "stitch" around the tree.
Go on over to Cardz TV, check out all of the great creations by our D.T. and then try your hand at it! You might just be the next winner of a Cardz TV stamp set!

Mother's Day Challenge
This time at Jellypark Friends our challenge is all about your "Mom"s,"Mum"s, "Mother" or whatever you call that angel that lived in your home and took care of you when you were growing up! Over "across the pond" in England Mother's Day is quickly approaching. Here in the States We have a few more weeks until our Mom's special day. We all got to work with whatever image we desired and I chose the "Gardening Mom" as I feel the closest to God when I am gardening... Here is what I created:
My sentiment is from Create with TLC. I just love this sentiment and it is so true! Now that I am a Grandmother I think about all of the things that I wanted to do in my life versus all of the things I have done...So many of my plans never came to fruition but so many other wonderful things happened in their place. I don't regret for a minute how my life turned out but; I should have really enjoyed and lived each moment as it came and went! Life has a way of going by so quickly. Now I know all of you new young mother's will say; "whatever is she talking about"? But wait til you are older and you will know what I mean...
Please plan on checking out our challenge blog at Jellypark Friends and see all of the wonderful Mother's Day cards created by our talented D.T. Then join in our fun and perhaps you will be the winner of one of our darling stamps!
I would like to enter the follwing challenges:

One Cool Dude...!
I wanted to do the challenge over at Doodle Pantry this month using one of the sweet images that you can find at the Doodle Pantry store.
I used a bunny image and then used another image from one of the accessories sets. I used the sunglasses and put them on my bunny in Photoshop! Colored all with Copic markers... He is now absolutely "one cool Dude" ! I computer generated the sentiment and then did some faux stitching around it all. I found some stickers that I applied to the area also. This was then mounted on another paper then placed on the card base with yet another paper covering that. My "one 1" flag in the top corner is from a set of markers for marking pages. I also used a compass stamp that I stamped on a page from a book. Then I placed the compass on another punched out circle of card stock.
This card is for my nephew who's birthday is this week.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Doodle Pantry- Any digi Goes (Use a Doodle Pantry image to receive a free stamp set)
Flat Friends Challenge - Cards for a guy
Pile it On - For a guy
Sister Act - Anything Goes

Oh Baby...!
Everyone loves a new baby! This week at Cardz TV the challenge is to create a card for a new baby. Here is what I created:
My sentiment is from one of Mary's newest stamp sets: Sugar Rush. My papers are from papers I bought at a "garage sale" from my stamping store so I don't know whose they are...sorry! My image is from Jellypark Friends. I love this sweet giraffe and thought it perfect for a baby card. I used an Stampin' Up punch to string the twine through the paper to the front. My image is popped up and the little hearts on the sentiment are from a punch from Studio G. The base for the sentiment was cut out using a Spellbinder die and then distressed around the edges with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
Here is the inside of the card...
Once again the same turquoise paper was used (even tho it doesn't look the same in the light that I took the picture in). Another Spellbinder die from the same set was used to place the sentiment on and a vine was cut pout using yet another die! The sentiment is from another Cardz TV stamp set: Ticket Talk 2.
I also CASED a card that Mary had done on her blog because I just thought it was so darn cute! Here it is:
If you want to check out her video on how to make this card just click here and you will be taken to the video! I used different colors and also a different sentiment (from Cardz TV) which changed mine up a little bit from hers.
Make sure to hop on over to Cardz TV and check out the challenge and all of the lovely cards made by my team mates. Then hopefully you will join in the fun!
Happy Friday everyone!

The Luck of the Irish!
Today I am going to share with you the card I made for Cardz TV latest card challenge: St. Patrick's Day. I am not Irish but sure do have a lot of friends who are and one of them will be getting this card from me.
I have created a tri-fold card using papers by Quick Quotes and Studio G. My sentiment tags were cut from an old file folder and the edges inked using Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink. My circle embellishments were made using a tutorial by Desire Fourie. Click on her name and be prepared to be "dazzled"! She is one talented lady. My shamrocks were cut using my Cricut Expression machine and the faces are from Peachy Keen. The sentiment is from Mary at Cardz TV. I love her sentiments and am so honored to be on her Design Team! I used two different stamp sets for my card: "It's All About You" and "Happy Days". Check out the challenge while you are there and you just might be the winner of one of her marvy stamp sets.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Fantabulous Cricut -All About You (Use your fav color. Mine is so green!)
