Easter Greetings

Hello everyone! It is hard to believe that Easter is almost upon us ! Maybe it is so hard to believe as it is still snowing where I live...
But...it is coming so today I would like to share a card that I have created using a sentiment stamp from CardzTV. We have a challenge that you could become a part of and in the process might become the winner of a new stamp set too!
Here is the card that I have created :

The image was created using the print and cut option on my new Cricut Explore. I have found a new love in my life! The Explore is quite fantastic and has made me love die cutting again. The new print and cut is an added bonus.
I used a basic a2 card base to which I added designer paper from iron orchid designs. The 6x6 pad is called Loolah and really has beautiful soft papers. I used a scrap piece of cardstock to cut out my hearts with a Fiskers heart punch. The sentiment is from the "Easter Blessings" stamp set at CardzTV.
Please go on over to CardzTV and check out our challenge and all the "love" my fellow team members have to show you. I hope you will be able to find the time to join in our challenge and join in the fun!
I would like to join in the following challenges :
Inspiration Destination #26 - Anything Goes
Crafting by Designs - Flowers with a twist (flowers on the bushes)
Paperback Weekly - A cut above

Is It Spring Yet?

I don't know about you but I am so tired of snow, snow and more snow...! Over at Cardz TV we are starting a new challenge: Make a "Spring" card! Here is what I have created:

I used 2 different punches (scallop and round) from Stampin' Up to create the opening and the flower for my gate fold card. I used some green card stock from Michael's as my card base. I also used designer paper from Studio G for the outside of the card. A couple of more punches created my flower from scraps and I free hand cut the leaves and stem. My belly band to put around the card was "aged" along the edges with some Tim Holtz distress ink. I used a new heart punch I bought from Fiskers to decorate the belly band. It slides up around the card to keep it closed. My flower center uses a sentiment from Cardz TV set called "Happy Days":

I love this stamp set and find myself reaching for it so much when creating cards!
Here is the inside of my card...

And here is a close up of that flower...
Go on over to Cardz TV and check out all of the oter creations done by my team mates. Then enter our challenge for your chance to be the winner of one of Mary's awesome stamp sets!
