One For The Boys!

Today over at Jellypark Friends we have a new challenge for you. It is "One for the Boys". Make a card for a boy, a man,or any male in your life! I used such a cute image from the Jellypark store for my card...boy with chocolate! This image brought back lots of memories of my boys when they were younger! LOL

I colored my image using Copic markers. My papers are all from my scrap pile (can you say "Huge pile"!). I used stickers and rub ons for my sentiment. I cleaned my scrapping room and promised myself to try and use up what I have before buying any more "stuff"! These stickers and rub ons worked perfectly. The buttons are some that have been hanging around for years too...
Please check out the challenge at Jellypark Friends and then plan on joining in the fun.Have a great weekend!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes (with a candy twist)
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes

Spring...?!

Well here it is April 25th and we are looking at snow possibly for tomorrow...I know it's Spring somewhere I just hope it gets here soon! In the meantime I will tell you all about the challenge this time around at CardzTV. "Spring" is the challenge and my card used my Cricut and a new stamp set from CardzTV entitled "Birds and Bees". Here is what I created

My papers are from the Lola and Luca paper pad from The Paper Studio. I used a punch to create the pink flower border. My image was cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. I used Copic markers to color. The cute face on my bee is from the boy set of Peachy Keen stamps.
Go and check out the challenge and all of the other wonderful cards made by the Design Team. You will think that Spring is really here! LOL! I hope you feel that you want to try your hand at the challenge. You just might be the winner of a CardzTV stamp set!

Make sure to join us this weekend for 2 fun days of a blog hop to introduce all the new stamp sets! It promises to be fun and there will be some surprises along the way too!

Easter Blessings

Today starts another card challenge over at Cardz TV. This challenge starts today and will end at noon on Thursday, April 24th. The challenge is to create an Easter card. I used the stamp set "Easter Blessing" To help create my card. Here is the front of the card...

I used my Cuttlebug and a pretty vines folder to create the background for my card. This I placed over the white card base to give it some depth. I added a green strip of paper then three flowers that I cut with my Cricut and colored with Copic markers. I added a clear babble to the center of each flower. My sentiment was stamped and the front was done.
Here is the inside...

Two more flowers, some green paper for the background and a beautiful scripture verse was added to finish the inside of my card. I really like how it turned out!
I hope you all hop on over to Cardz TV and check out the challenge and all of the pretty cards made by my team mates. Try your hand at our challenge and you just might be the winner of a wonderful set of Cardz TV stamps!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Jellypark Friends - Easter
MilkCoffee - Easter
Moving Along With The Times - Easter or Spring

Count Your Blessings Blog Hop

I'm so glad you could join us today for our "Count Your Blessings" Card Blog Hop.Sit back and relax, and get ready for some fun, inspiration, and the chance to win some blog candy too!

Here's what I made for today's blog hop using Cardz TV Stamp set "Count Your Blessings"...

I used a House Mouse stamp which I colored using Copic markers. The green card stock backing was run through my Cuttlebug using a Cutlebug folder; "Forest Branches". My flowers are from silk flowers that I took apart and re-purposed.The cloud was cut Using my Cricut machine. The pearls in the flower centers and the green brads are from my stash so I don't know what brands they are(but knowing me they were probably from the $1 bin at Michael's!)

Here are two more shots of my card...
