Digital Ink Co. Design Team Call Out!

Digital Ink Co. is looking for 8 new DT for their new company. The call ends tonight at midnight! I hope I make the deadline. I am not usually this late with stuff but I "Hemmed and Hawed" over applying and then decided.. heck yeah! So... here are two of my cards for the entry. They are both digital images. The birds are really 1 image that I flipped to get the second image so it looked like two birds fighting over the same worm! I am sorry if my followers have seen them already but...!

Dare u2 Digi Challenge

I did this card for the dareu2digistamp Challenge #20 using 1 ribbon, 2 patterened papers and 3 flowers.
I used the digital Yoga Mama image from Modern Sugar Blvd., and a digital quote from Paper Makeup Stamps. I did this card twice as I thought it said 2 papers (not two patterned papers) and had only used the kraft paper and the blue patterned paper around yoga Mama. When I went to post it on my blog, I re- read the instructions and saw it said 2 patterned papers! Now technically I have only used 2 papers totally as the kraft paper has the pattern on the other side of it! This was a cool challenge and one that I will revisit as I love digital images! How about you?

Modern Sugar Blvd Saturday Challenge!

This week's challenge finds us using any image from MSB and adding some bling! Sparkle, glitter, glimmer, rhinestones...anything to make it pop! I couldn't decide on just one image so I did two! What's that old saying about "more is always better" ?! Well I sure thought so! I had a blast adding the bling to these cards. If you look closely you will find glimmer mist , rhinestones, glitter glue, glitter pen, Stickles, and more on these cards. Check them out then head on over to Modern Sugar and give the contest a chance. You could be the proud winner of not one but two images from us! (See I told you, more is better....teeheehee!) Have a super week and check out the other Sugar's creations too.
P.S. What I used:
Quick Quotes dp
SU card stock
Tattered Angels glimmer mist
Jelly Roll glitter pen
Stickles
Glitter glue
Martha Stewart punch
assorted ribbon scraps
Little Black Dress rhinestones
Copics and Prismmarkers to color

First time for Mojo Monday !

I found a new sketch challenge while blogging on Monday and thought wow! I knew I had to give Mojo Monday a try. They are on sketch # 101...which means that I have been living with "my head in the sand" for the last 100 sketches! LOL! Well...now that I found them I will most certainly try their sketches out as much as my time permits {school IS starting :( }. Thanks for the cool sketch! I used a Hanna stamp ...cool Moose Riley, who is riding out the last waves of summer! Cowabunga Dude!
I used SU card stock and copics to color. My background square was done with glimmer mist and stencil of a dragonfly. Ribbons were just scraps from my ribbon drawer. I love it when all the colors just come together! I used my cuttlebug and my crimper on the background papers. Thanks for looking!

With Sympathy

I have such a hard time making sympathy cards... I guess cause I like to do upbeat, happy cards. I made this card for my husband to take to work after the passing away of one of his co-workers' father. I used a retired SU stamp that I have always loved and found the inside verse online. (It's amazing what you can "Google"!) Thanks for looking... Hopefully everyone is doing fine in your lives!

Midnight Madness Challenge #16

Here is my card for the weekly challenge at Midnight Madness. The image is from Doodle Palace. My DP is from Quick Quotes. Scraps for the other paper. I colored it with Copics, and Colorbox ink. Various buttons, ribbon, and a tagboard covered corner finish off the card. I turned the sketch on its' side.I hope you like it!

My Granddaughter's new blog

My 7 year old grandbaby Isabella is totally into stamping with me. She watched me put uploads onto my blog and was so into it. She said she wanted her own blog and so, I said sure! She loves art and does "crafting" with me every day. So... today she asked me how many followers she has! I told her 1 (me) and she said "I hope I get a lot of followers who will leave comments about my pictures". How sweet is that!
So I am asking all my viewers to click on her blog( just click on the title on this post) and leave her a little comment if you have the time and/or become her follower. I know she will love it! Thank you so very much!

One of Those Days...

I made this card with a digital image that I printed twice. I just flipped it to look like there was a tug of war over the worm!

The inside of the card reads...
"I don't know if I'm coming or going!"
The papers are just scraps that I had on my work table, cardstock from SU. I used brads and bling from Joanne's. The flowers are from a Martha Stewart punch that I colored to match my paper.

Let me know what you think of it, OK?

Fun at SNR!

I made this card using the free image from Modern Sugar Blvd that was posted on the SNR blog site for their Challenge day. Go on over and check out the fun...there's still time to give it a try!

Your Next Stamp 1st Design Team Call

I made these two cards for the "Your Next Stamp 1st Design Team Call". The cute little boy is a digital image I found at an online coloring book. The Fairy God Mother is a digital image from Squigglyfly. I used copics and prism markers along with chalks on them. I chose these two images to show my coloring abilities. Wish me luck!

Midnight Madness Challenge #15

This weeks challenge at Midnight Madness found me using this cute image from Squigglyfly. I really can get into this singing elephant as I love to sing! I sing everywhere... I sing at work, I sing at home. I sing in the shower and the grocery store! LOL! I used sharpies and copics to color this digital image and SU cardstock. My ribbons are just some scraps I had in my ribbon drawer.

The DP is from a pad I bought at Big Lots. I don't know who this will be for but I always need birthday cards.

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge

The deadline for this weeks challenge is in about 1 hour! I was away for most of last week and just got home about 2 hours ago. I had stamped these images (SU) before I left with the intent to do this challenge. When I got home today; I saw them on my work table and went to work. I thought it was time to start thinking Halloween cause it will be here before we know it! Great sketch Melissa!

Saturday Challenge at Modern Sugar

Happy Saturday everyone! The challenge today at MSB is to use any MSB image and make a banner! This was a lot of fun to do once I figured out what image to use from all the cute ones we have. I decided on the champagne glasses image and made a banner to use for an anniversary or wedding party. I colored the images once I sized them to the size I wanted. That's what is so cool about digital images... you're not stuck to the original size but can make it the size you need for the project you choose! How cool is that! Next I made tags using my Cricut (Tags, bags and more cartridge). I used some pretty lace that I had for the ribbon and also to tie each tag to the banner. I used Stickles on my images for the bubbles to make them "pop" ( kind of like the popping bubbles in the real thing... I LOVE the bubbles!).
So... pop on over to MSB and give it a try and you could just win two images of your choice! That would be Sweeeeeet!

Rock On!

I did this card using a Squigglyfly image. I picked up the guitar paper clips at the Christmas Tree Shoppe. I thought this would be a cute card for my nephew who is turning 14. What do you think?
Sorry for the short post but I am on my way to Canada for a Karoke party with my brother and sister-in-law! My Hubby refused to go cause he's afraid they won't let him back into the States without a passport...I like to live on the edge! LOL! So... hopefully I will be back tomorrow with another post! Have a fun evening everyone, I know I will!

PS I'm back...I made it safely back over the border from Canada!

Another Saturday Challenge from Modern Sugar

The challenge this week is by Lindsay. You are suppose to use flourishes, flowers, and/or bling! You may use any MSB image that you would like. I chose Hippie Mama cause she reminds me of me! I was so like her back in the late 60's & 70's! (I am really aging myself with that one! lol!) I used to wear the low waisted wide legged bell bottoms and thought I was so cool... My Father is still on my sh-- list cause he refused to let me go to Woodstock! Oh well... I would have gotten really muddy anyway! But I still regret not seeing Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin!
The designer paper I've used is from Quick Quotes( I have tons that I won at a class of theirs at Convention this year...yahoo!).My card stock is from AC Moore. The bling is from there too.I used Copics and Sharpies to color my image.
So...anyway; cruise on over to MSB and try your hand at the challenge and check out all the other DT cards while you are there. You may be the winner of two free images of your choice!
