Another week has gone by and October is coming to an end...Where has the month gone? Happy Halloween to all of my followers who celebrate this day!
This week at Critter Sketch our challenge to you is: A sketch challenge. Our sponsor is Inky Impressions.
I took a little liberty with the size of the blocks for my card but I think you can still see the "bones" of it there. My image and sentiment are by Doodle Pantry. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the solid green scrap that is layered on my white card stock. I stamped the white card stock with a retired SU stamp and Old Olive ink. Two more scraps of paper for the next layers and a flower that I handmade and this card was done! (It only took a few hours of agonizing over how to do it...lol!)
Check out the challenge and the other team members creations then plan on joining us!
Paper Possibilities..."Toadily Handmade" A place to come and visit with me and maybe learn a thing or two! So pull up a chair and grab a cup of "Joe" and enjoy your visit! Come back often and see what's new... " But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."

Halloween Ghoul to you!
I did this card with the challenge over at Mary's Cardz TV blog. This week she is challenging you to make a Halloween card using your Cricut. This was an easy one for me as I just recently acquired the Mini Monsters cartridge. The hard part was deciding what to make! I settled on this cute little ghost and the witches cauldron. I cut the cauldron and made an extra top layer so I could pop it up to look 3D. This way I think it makes it look like that sweet blue ghost is coming out from the cauldron! I used a white and silver gel pen to ink around the cauldron. Wiggle eyes were added to the ghost. I used a piece of copper metalic paper twith my cuttlebug to emboss the swirl design on. I also used black card stock as my card base. This will be the card for my grandson this year. Check out the challenge and try your hand at it!

This card was done using a vintage image and sentiment from Create with TLC. I used my Copic markers to color the image in places. I placed this on some paper from Quick Quotes that reminds me of a barn exterior.I used a kraft colored card base from AC Moore. A pretty easy card but I think it turned out just fine!

Holiday Recipes!
I made these recipe books as Christmas presents for friends of mine so shush...don't tell them! I used my Cricut Expression to cut out the cover and pages with thin cardboard (think cereal boxes). I also used it to cover the pages and make the embellishments on each page. They were cut out of card stock 6 times and then I layered the embellishments to give them more strength and a 3D look. The slice of pie is a digital image from a set at Doodle Pantry called Decadent Desserts.I used a variety of holiday papers from my stash to cover the pages and my Bind It All to put everything together.
Here are a coupe pictures of the inside pages. I am going to write my favorite recipes on the cards and then stick them in each pocket. I hope they like them!
I would like to enter the following challenges :

HOPE
I did this card using an image and sentiment from TLC Creations. I love the simplicity of it and the message it gives...How about you? I did this card thinking of the US economy and thinking of where we all are right now in our lives... I know we struggle every day just to keep ahead of our bills, provide health insurance for our family, pay our mortgage and put food on the table. I really hope that there is a "light at the end of this tunnel"... Hopefully things will turn around for our country soon.
I would like to also enter this card into the following challenges:
Celebrate the Occasion -#36- Fall
Crafty Sentiments Design - No designer papers

Doodle Pantry "Howdy"!
Isn't this the cutest image of Birdie yet?! I love those cowboy boots! I made my card using kraft paper and red card stock from AC Moore. I used my Cricut Expression to cut the scalloped shapes around the image and the red frame. I then used versamark ink and stamped the horses on the kraft paper. The stamp is from a retire set from Stampin' Up. The image came colored already and the Howdy sentiment is part of the set so I just added it to the image before I printed it out.I used pop dots to "pop" the image up on the card. Pretty quick card! The ribbon is from Offray and the brad I picked up at a CK convention last year from one of those places that sell tons of different shaped brads. No company was listed.(Sorry).
You still have time to enter the challenge at Doodle Pantry to get the cute Quirky Penguin set for free. So check it out! It closes on the 24th so get crafting!

Here is what I did using a Doodle Pantry image and sentiment. This is perfect for the holiday quickly approaching!
I colored it with Copic markers and used a Martha Stewart bat punch to add all of the birdie's friends! The punch for the "gooey goo" on the bottom of the card is also a Martha Stewart punch. My papers are from my scrap pile. I believe the black and green is from DCWV and the pink paper from the $1 spot at Target's last Valentine's Day!
Check out the challenge at Critter Sketch. We would love to see your entry!

Create With TLC Creations
I did both of these cards using images from Create with TLC The first one with the eye was done using an eye chart I found online...don't know who made it...(sorry. If you know please comment here so I can give the artist credit for it). The eye and the sentiment are from the TLC store. I colored it with my Copic markers, used black card stock for the base and some paper from the Target $1 spot for the next layer. I used a punch from SU for the corners.
My second card is from a set at Paulette's store entitled "Wine Group Therapy". I love this set and there are several images and sentiments that are in it. Such a fun sentiment! Papers are from Bazzil and Target $1 spot. I colored this also with Copic markers. Two simple cards but I love how they turned out!

Doodle Pantry New Releases!
Well Laurie has done it once again. Her new releases today are simply wonderful! I chose to work with one of her new sets called Quirky Penguin. I used the uncolored image, a sentiment and one of the papers from the set to create my card. I just love this penguin... I printed the penguin twice and flipped one of them so it looked like the images were dancing together. I printed the images on some of her wonderful paper and then set about coloring the images with my markers. I love to color! It is such a stress reliever. Very soothing and takes me back to the simpler days of my youth! The black paper is glitter paper and is wonderfully sparkly in real life. The ribbon is from Michael's. Go on over to Doodle Pantry and check out all of the sets! You won't know which to get first!
