Doodle Pantry 5th of Month Challenge#13
It is the 5th of June and that means it is the monthly challenge at Doodle Pantry! The only rule is that you must use a Doodle Pantry image. I used this beautiful image of Almond blossoms and did something I normally don't do...I hardly colored it! I wanted the blossoms to take center stage so thought I would only color those...I don't know if I like it or not but to use one of my husbands favorite quotes, "It is what it is".
I used a paper grocery bag for my background paper to which I embossed and distressed with inks. I love the way it turned out.
Go on over and check out the challenge... you will love it!
Have a great week everyone!

OMG Georgia I love your card, it is beautiful.Super work on the background paper and I think the flowers are perfect the way you barely coloured them. Thanks for joining the challenge at Doodle Pantry this week.
What a beautiful card! I love the texture of the recycled grocery bag - how clever. Your coloring of only the flowers is very effective - what a creative idea. Love your card layout too. Simply fabulous and so glad you shared this with us at Doodle Pantry!
