Today at Jellypark Friends we are using color Palettes from Design Seeds. I used one called sweet stuff:
Next I chose the image from Jellypark Friends to use. I decided on the sweet mermaid image available for sale. Here is what I created...
I also added a sentiment circle with the month from Jellypark Friends. Since this is to be a birthday card for a young student of mine I highlighted the actual day of her birthday! I love that I can do this with the month sentiment! I used my trusty Copic markers to color the images. I used an embossing folder on the solid green background to make it look like waves. Some cute DP from the $1 spot at Michael's and then a highlight of color around the white paper that my image was printed on. I also used a gel glitter pen on the seaweed swirls that I cut out using a die and my Cuttlebug again! I used pop dots to give the month sentiment some dimension. I love how it turned out.
Paper Possibilities..."Toadily Handmade" A place to come and visit with me and maybe learn a thing or two! So pull up a chair and grab a cup of "Joe" and enjoy your visit! Come back often and see what's new... " But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."

Orange Thanks !
This is a card that I made using the Cherry Nice Mice set from Doodle Pantry. It is a darling set with this mouse and either oranges or cherries in the images. I know that I will use it over and over again. I tried something out of my "norm" for this card and added some letters to create part of the sentiment and embellishment. The image was colored in the set. I added a frame that I cut using my Spellbinder dies. Lots of Tim Holtz distress ink for the edges. My toadstool and flowers were made using my Cricut die cutting machine. The orange flower was stamped using a CTMH stamp. Only 2 more days until the new releases come out at Doodle Pantry! Make sure to check them out!

Gardening Time!
I wanted to share a card that I made using an image from Doodle Pantry. I love this time of year and getting my gardens ready to meet the wonderful days of summer. My ferns that I transplanted from our old house in Pennsylvania are just starting to reach their young tendrils out of the ground and I am super excited to think that they made the transition from PA to NY ! We sold our old homestead last June and this will always remind me of the wonderful times we had in that home...
Check out all of the lovely and quirky (yes some are quirky!) images that Doodle Pantry has for you to purchase! My card was super easy to put together in photo shop. I just used the color version of the image along with a sentiment and my card was almost done! This is a 3x3 inch card. My base is some lovely card stock from my scraps and the checkerboard is another. Doesn't it just beckon you to eat Italian tonight? haha!

Geek ?
Today our challenge over at Jellypark Friends is in honor of all "geeks" out there! Come on... you know who you are...lol! Isn't there a little "geek" in all of us?
Here is the card I created using a new image from Claire...
My designer paper is all from Cricut. I think I have had the paper for years...Ever since I bought my baby "bug" and that was when they first came out...lol! I used a kraft card base and did "faux" stitching around the edges of just about everything! I used my Cricut to cut out the Happy Day sentiment. My embellishment is a handmade one that I learned from Desire Fourie at Doing Life. Desire is so very talented and always has wonderful tutorials. Check her blog out!
Here is another close up of my card...
And one more...
Check out my team mates creations at Jellypark Friends and then join in the challenge that is going on over there! Have a great weekend everyone!

Happiness...
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a wall hanging that I created using 12 x 12 scrap booking paper and other goodies. I wanted to make this to remind my coworkers of what happiness is and how it affects your life and the lives of those around you...
I found a book on my Kindle Fire that is full of happiness quotes and really wanted to share these with my coworkers. Always remember that how you act will affect the reactions of those around you. I try to be upbeat every day (even if I have a lot on my mind). Here is a closer look at it...
Two of my favorites quotes...
So...think happy thoughts everyone! Be joyful and blessed!
Hugs,
Georgia

Stamp Spotlight
Today over at Jellypark Friends we are all coming together to share what we have created using Claire's image of Girl with Kitten. This image is a favorite of one our design team members Jerusha. Here is what I have created using the image:
I printed off the image on yellow card stock and then colored it using Copic markers.A Spellbinders die was then used to cut it out. I backed it onto a piece of scrap paper that was in my stash. The white polka dots on her dress and the white stripes on her socks were created by using a Spica white pen. I love how it turned out. Go over to Jellypark Friends and check out all of the wonderful creations done using this image and then maybe you will decide you would like to own this image too!
I would like to enter the following challenges:

Feliz Cinco de Mayo !
I wanted to wish all of my followers a Happy 5th of May.
The weather is beautiful here and I have been enjoying temperatures of 70 - 78 all week long! I think Spring is finally on the horizon. I thought I would share a card I made using the Cinco de Mayo set from Doodle Pantry. This set came out last year and I so love it! I chose to use the sombrero, marrachas, and the sentiment for my card...
The balloons are from a sticker set that was "gifted" to me by a good friend.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes (optional gift packaging. Wouldn't you know that last weeks was "Cinco de Mayo" lol)

Great Impressions - Celebrations

Girly Girl Challenge
A new challenge starts today at Jellypark Friends It is all about being a "girly girl". We want to see your cards or other creations with girl choices. It could be the colors, the images, stamps or sentiments that have to be with the wonderful world that encompasses being a girl!
I used an image from Jellypark Friends that has both a girl and a dress. It doesn't get any more "girly" then that.
Here is my card...
Check out the challenge at Jellypark Friends and join in the fun.
My next card uses one of the new image releases.
I just realized that I used the same Spellbinder die on both of these cards... I guess it is my "go to" die for this week. lol!
Both images were colored with Copic markers. I also used a glitter pen on them both to give it a little "shimmer". Here is a close up of the sentiment for my garden card...
Make sure to check out the new releases over at Jellypark Friends!
Happy Friday everyone...

Happy May Day!
Today marks the beginning of another new month in 2013 and finally one with the promise of Spring and Summer. The nice weather has been a long time coming but hopefully nicer weather is here to stay. As it is the first of the month that means a new release over at Doodle Pantry. I don't know how Laurie does it...but she continues to create wonderful new images each month! This month is no exception. All of the wonderful new sets can be viewed at the Doodle Pantry blog or/and store. Make sure to check them out!!
This time around for the new release I chose to work with Handy Birdie. I thought it would be perfect for a Father's Day card. Check out what I have created:
Here is a close up side view so you can see how I cut out the tool box and put pop dots under it to raise it up for more dimension...
I colored my image with a combo of Copic and Prisma markers. I used washi tape for the "rulers". The papers come with this set and I printed them off on my printer. I love the screwdriver paper! It is perfect for this cute handyman bird.
Here is one final front view of my card...
Come join our monthly challenge and receive a new set just for playing along! You must use a Doodle Pantry image (not just a sentiment). Check out the specifics here: Doodle Pantry Blog. Doodle Pantry also has a sale going on...and who doesn't love a sale??? 25% off everything special (minimum purchase $3.00)! MAY 1st thru may 6th only!
