I Did It Creations Vintage Challenge

At I Did It Creations this week the challenge is Vintage Christmas and I have used a digi stamp from the talented Hope Jacare Doodles. Hope has a unique style that is perfect for a vintage theme. I have chosen to play with her "Christmas Rooftop" image which can be found here.I embossed both the card and the image background. I then distressed both using Tim Holz distress inks.My ribbon was then added along with some rhinestones and a cute little flower from Trico that I edged with glitter glue.My main image was colored with Copic markers and then distressed with both distress inks and glimmer mist.
I am fairly new to "vintage" even thought I love Tim Holz's vintage look, so I am still a novice. Hopefully I accomplished the look here... I hope you all go over and check out the challenge at IDIC, see the other lovely creations done by our DT, and then try your hand at it yourselves!
One other thing I wanted to tell you about is the New Discount Club for Scrap Booking and Stamping Supplies... Join now it's free!
Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium Shop
a division of I Did It Creations
(you must be a member of the Yahoo Group
above to be given access to the shop)

They have wonderful prices and there is no membership fee involved. They also continue to add things to their shop on a daily basis and will take requests {and if they are able to} they will get it for you. It's worth looking into. I bought Copic sketch markers for $4.00! They sell them at Hobby Lobby for $7.49. If you have a few minutes check it out.
Thanks for stopping by.
I would also like to enter the following:
The Crafty Pad - Anything Goes
Gingerloft Challenge - Bows

Thanks for sharing with us at The Crafty Pad Challenge. :)
Wonder if your guess for the amount of ribbons will be right? To be eligible to go into the draw for the pirze you need to display our 100th challenge badge - you can find it in the top of the challenge post. :)
