Today I have a new challenge for you from Lia Stampz. The challenge is to paper craft something for a child's birthday! I decided to create a journal for the "big day" where all of the festivities of the day could be journal-ed. My book is from the dollar spot at Michael's. I actually got it on sale after Christmas for $.50. What a deal! I knew that I could create something with it and this idea just "clicked"! My image is a new one from Lia Stampz that I have colored using Copic and Promarkers. The sentiment, stars and the planet are from a stamp set that I have had for years!
Here is what I created...
Why not check out the challenge and play along? You can also check out the other new images that are available from Lia Stampz.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes
Sassy Studios - Stars in our Eyes
Divas by Design - Anything Goes
Paper Possibilities..."Toadily Handmade" A place to come and visit with me and maybe learn a thing or two! So pull up a chair and grab a cup of "Joe" and enjoy your visit! Come back often and see what's new... " But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."

Get in Shape!
This week at Jellypark Friends our challenge to you is to create a card or other paper-crafting item using different shapes! You will love what the DT has create for you. Check out the challenge at Jellypark Friends and plan on joining in the fun!
Claire is also introducing two new images to the delight of all! I have used one of these images in my card.
I used Copic markers to color my image. The border on the bottom of the card was done with the Artiste cartridge and my Cricut. The scallop circles were done with SU punches. I added some baker's twine from Hobby Lobby and the buttons are from Walmart. The blue designer paper is from Recollections and the other papers from my stash. I used a Tim Holtz distress ink to ink around the edges of almost everything. LOL!
Please check out the Jellypark Friends blog to see what our DT have created with both of these new images.

Bee Mine!
Cardz TV has a Valentine's Day challenge going on right now and I thought I would join in the fun! The challenge is to make 3 cards which are 3x3 inches for kids. I used my Create a Critter 2 cartridge and Elegant Edges to make my cards. Here they are...
I used the postage stamp cut to do my background paper on each of the cards using a Recollections paper. I tied baker's twine onto each of them and then added my die cut pieces. I used a sentiment from Cardz TV for the hearts and cut out my other 2 sentiments with my Cricut Expression. I love how these turned out! I hope my grandchildren do too! Here is a close up of each card...
I used small pieces of scrap paper to cut out each image. The inside reads, "Happy Valentine's Day !
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Cardz TV - (3)-3x3 inch valentines for kids
Challenges 4 Everybody - Always Anything Goes

Have You Had Your Jelly(park) Today?
Jellypark friends has 2 new releases and a challenge for you! Claire has drawn two wonderful new images for you. Check them out :
The challenge this time around is "all about sweetness". Show us your creation using something "sweet". I used a cute image from Jellypark Friends using the Cupcake girl. My card was made by using my Cricut Expression machine to cut out all of the elements on the card. I used my Cuttlebug with two different folders to do both the sun and the blue sky. My image was colored with Copic markers and then I used Pop dots to give it some depth. My sentiment was stamped using a retired Stampin' Up stamp and then placed in the middle of the sun (after I also used the dotted Swiss folder on it).
I would love to have you go over to Jellypark Friends and see all the "sweetness" that has been created by our talented design team and then try your hand at joining in!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Craft Us Crazy - Get to cutting
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes
TTCRD - Anything Goes

Hot, Hot, Hot !
This a card I made using the Doodle Pantry image set Chili Peppers. I think it will be perfect for Valentine's day for my Hubby (even after almost 40 years) who still "turns me on" lol!
I used the color version and one of the sentiments. I used one of my Spellbinder Nestibilities dies to cut out the image and the paper behind it. My green background paper is from Recollections. A little baker's twine and the sentiment popped up on pop dots and it was finished. Pretty easy peasy!
Here is the inside...
Why don't you go over to Doodle Pantry and check out the challenge that is going on until the 24th of this month? Just for entering (using a Doodle Pantry image) you will receive the cutest set for free! That is def a "win-win" for sure!

Happy first day of February everyone! Spring can't be too far behind now and visions of "love" are right around the corner with Valentine's day fast approaching! This is the perfect time to share a few cards that I made with a few of the new releases over at Doodle Pantry! Yup! It is new release day ove there and one of the reasons I am so happy to see the beginning of a new month! Laurie has outdone herself once again! Check out my cards...
First I used a parchment image from the new Parchment Paper release and also a few of the new Cowboy Gear set...
and the inside...
The designer paper is also from the Cowboy Gear set. This is a very wonderful set with lots of images for the "cowboy" in your life! Check it out!
My next card is done using a scroll from the Parchment Paper set again but this time I used it with the cute Cupid Turtle image. My parchment image was printed on a light yellow paper to give it more "age".
The blue design paper is also from the Turtle set. I used my Cricut die cutting machine to make the hearts. All the other papers are from my "scrap" pile.
Check out the storefor all of the great new images. Happy February everyone!
I would like to enter the following:
Bearly Mine - #71 Hearts Galore (2nd card)
