The Crafty Pad Challenge
I was asked to be a guest designer for the current challenge at The Crafty Pad which is being sponsored by Stitchy & I Did It Boutique this week! I was able to choose from 4 different images from Robyn's Fetish and I chose this darling little bird. The prize is from Robyn's store and will be five digital images or five digital paper sets of your choice!
The challenge this week is to use sewing...real or faux. I decided to use faux quite by accident! I had forgotten what the requirement was to be when I created my card, I sent it in to my "boss lady" Jeanette, then realized I hadn't done the sewing...Uh oh! No problem really... I just used a Copic marker and "sewed" around a part of my card, took more pics and sent it back along its' merry way! If only real life could be that easy! lol! But I digress... Back to the challenge.
Go over and check out all the wonderful creations the very talented designers from The Crafty Pad have to show you. They are indeed a very amazing , talented group and I feel honored to be included with them this week! Have a wonderful week!
I am also entering this into the following challenges :

I Did It Charming!
The challenge this week at the I Did It Challenge blog is all about using charms. Please use a charm somewhere on your creation! My card today uses this sweet birdie image from one of the talented artists who are connected with Stitchy Bear and I Did It Creations Crafting Creations. This week's artist is Card Mad Fairy and can be found here. I did my card using the sketch from this week's
challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges. I did take a little liberty with the sketch by turning the background around and using a different shape for the middle area...but that's what is so good about sketch challenges...They are sketches and you are able to jump off from their starting point and make it your own! My card stock and designer paper is from DCWV. I colored using Copic markers and Sharpie markers . My ribbon from my stash. The charm is from Michael's and the flower from a company called Trico.
Go on over to the IDIC blog and check out what all of our designers have created for you... Jump right into the challenge and let us see how "charming" you can be! Have a great day everyone!
I am also entering this into the following challenges:

IDIC # 25
The challenge this week at I Did It Challenge Blog is an easy one! Anything Goes! The design team were allowed to pick an image from Didgi Doodles. I chose this little cutie named Katey. I decided to make a tag with her. I cut out my tag from gray card stock using my Cricut. I then used Some chalk inks to stamp all over the tag with a stamp set called Travel World from TPC Studio. My princess circle was a freebie (sorry don't remember where...). I colored Katey using my Copic markers. The arrows on the tag are made out of vinyl from the cover of an old school binder(I try to think green!). I cut them out using my Cricut and Accent Essentials cartridge. Ribbon is Miss Elizabeth's. Go on over to the IDIC blog and check out what the other DT have done for your viewing enjoyment and give the challenge a whirl! Have a great Sunday everyone! My grand daughter is in a cheerleading competition later today (and she's only 8!).

The challenge this week at Designed to Delight is an easy one. It's all about breast cancer awareness.October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Many of us have been affected by this disease in one way or another... I have lost one good friend and had another one go through all the horrors that breast cancer has to offer. I am thankful that my friend Gail is a survivor and I love her dearly.Never a day goes by that I don't think about my friend Sue who wasn't as lucky...This card was done with an image that Faith has up in her store here. I received it for free for being in her progressive challenge. Why not go over to Designed to Delight and check out the wonderful set she has for sale for Breast Cancer Awareness Week? I also did this card to enter in D2D's sister challenge; Double Delight. At Double Delight the challenge is to think pink. Have a great week everyone and hug your mothers, sisters, daughters, and girlfriends...

IDIC Challenge #25
The challenge at I Did It Challenge blog this week is entitled, "The Girl of My Dreams". We got to choose from some really cute images from Beary Dust.So many cute girl images that it was really difficult to just choose one...but I finally picked Tracey. I think she is just adorable! I used a new technique from Splitcoast Stampers that had me using my Score Pal to dry emboss the lines on my yellow card stock. A pretty neat technique! My sentiment and little floral stamps are from SU and my card stock from Michael's. I used Copic markers to color her and a few rhinestones to complete the look. Go over and check out all the neat creations the DT have created for you, and try out the challenge! Have a great week everyone!

D2D Apple Delight!
The challenge from Faith at Designed 2 Delight this week is to use this cute apple image (the 2 apples together). This image is free for the first challenge of the month so if you don't have it; go and grab it before it is placed in her shop for sale! This is a progressive challenge and you will receive the next weeks' image free if you enter a creation using the current weeks' image. I have re-sized and flipped the image to incorporate it on my card. I have used a Martha Stewart punch to punch out some music sheet paper from Paper Studio for my border. I also added a green ribbon behind the border punch to "bring it up a notch"! My sentiment is an actual stamp from Hero Arts. I used Prisma color markers to color my image.Pop dots were added to the apples on the bottom to give some dimension. My card stock is actually from a company that makes checks! The black paper behind the sentiment is from A.C Moore. I am also entering this at Double Delight where the challenge is to "punch it up" by using a border punch on your card.
Spooky! And then some... ( IDIC #24)
This week's challenge at I Did It Challenge blog is sponsored by Hope Jacare Doodles. This artist can be found at Stitchy Bear & I Did It Creations Crafting Boutique. You have two weeks for this challenge! There will be an awesome prize package too!(I don't even know what it is yet...so it must be good! lol!) We used a cute jack o lantern as our main image and then it was "all about Halloween"! I made this stair step card to help showcase the image. I colored with my Copic markers and a white gel pen. I cut out the tree, fence, cat, bats and other pumpkin from my Paper Dolls cartridge using my Cricut machine. I love it when it can be used for my card making! The ribbon I used is from Michael's. The card stock for my base is from my scrap pile. It was double sided so it worked perfectly for my stair steps!
