I wanted to share a 3x3 note card that I made using one of Laurie's new images from Doodle Pantry. I used the colored old fashioned button top shoe image and one of the sentiments from the Fancy Shoe set to create it. Here is what I created:
Only two more days until the next wonderful sets of images are unveiled over at Doodle Pantry! Make sure to check them out...

Make Me Smile...
The challenge over at Jellypark Friends this time around is to create something that "makes you smile"! Check out the blog and all of the delightful creations that the design team have created. It is also the day of a new release image and I got to play with it...
My card is a trifold card. Here is the inside...
My papers are various scraps from Quick Quotes. I colored the image with my trusty Copic markers.
I am going to send this card to a co-worker who broke her foot and won't be able to come back to work until the last week of school. I hope she gets a "kick" out of it!

Just a Note...
I wanted to share this cute sticky note holder that I created using an acrylic 5x7 frame and one of the new sets that was released today at Doodle Pantry.
I used a pad of sticky notes which I adhered with double sided tape to the frame. Easy Peasy! When I showed my Hubby he said; "thank you!" I didn't have the heart to tell him it wasn't for him so it now adorns his work desk. LOL!
I used Microsoft Word to place all of the elements from the set onto one piece of paper. The pencils and paper clip background were re-sized.I placed it onto a blue paper and then a bigger yellow paper which I then slipped in between the frame, added a pretty ribbon, and then my sticky note pad.
Check out the new releases over at Doodle Pantry and maybe do a little shopping while you are there... Here is the set that is free with purchase until April 24th... Check out my post below to see what I did with the set!

Is it Flip Flop Weather YET ???
I don't know about you; but I live in flip flops in the summer! If I could wear them to work I sure would.
I wanted to share a card that I made using a flip flop set from Doodle Pantry. Such a fun set! It comes with colored images and line images (if you prefer to color). It also comes with some might sweet sentiments!
I chose to size the flip flops a little smaller and make a row of them. I used the colored images. This sweet sentiment echoes my feelings exactly! My paper is really glittery (I don't think the photo does it justice). I used 2 star shaped brads that have been hanging around my brads for quite a while so I don't remember who made them...
New releases come out Tuesday the 16th at Doodle Pantry! Laura is trying something new and has the releases coming out twice this month! (Twice as much fun shopping for you!) So...stay tuned tomorrow and check out the image that I created with!
Have a great evening everyone...

What is it About a Book?
What is it about a book...It's adventure, dreaming and just plain fun! This week our challenge at Jellypark Friends is; "It's All About a Book". I worked with two different images from Jellypark Friends for this challenge. My first card was done using a paper piecing kit called; The Owl & The Pussycat". I loved having nursery rhymes read to me as a child and this set reminds me of the magical journeys that I had with books way back when. The only additional embellishments to this card are the added stars that I popped up in the sky.
This card has many layers which I popped up with those wonderful foam dots. I am planning on using this card for a baby card and will add a book of nursery rhymes along with it!
My second card uses a new release from Jellypark Friends entitled "Girl with Book". Many a summer day was spent in my youth doing exactly what this young girl is doing... reading and dreaming away the days! It was during one of those long hot summers that I discovered all of my Mum's Nancy Drew books from her childhood and read them all! I was sure that I too would become a detective! lol! The sentiment has always been one of my favorites and I thought it was perfect with the image! I colored the image with Copic and Prism markers. My sentiment was stamped on a lined piece of note paper then I cut out around the edges repeating the same with the blue card stock behind it.
Check out the challenge and all of the lovely creations by the Design Team at Jellypark Friends. Have a great weekend!

Doodle Time is Here!
Today is the day of the new releases over at Doodle Pantry. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with one of Laurie's older sets that she has "colorized". The set is called Color Pears and Raspberries. Just click on the name and it will magically take you right to the set at the store!
Here are my cards...
The first set I worked with was the Raspberry set. I had a lot of fun with it in my Photoshop program! I added additional images and sized them till I liked how it looked. Then I layered them by using pop dots. The background paper and the sentiment are also from the set.I used distress ink around the borders of my papers.
Here is the second card that I created...
I took the image of the single pear with blossom leaves and made it into two! The background paper is from the same set.The sentiment is from another of Laurie's sets.My buttons are from Joanne's. (They were 50% off last week!)Again I used distress inks on my borders.
Check out the challenge going on now too at the Doodle Pantry blog. If you enter the challenge (you must use a Doodle Pantry image{lots of freebies at the store}and not just a sentiment. You will receive a new set that has just been released... Berry Nice Mice!
