Christmas in July!
This week the challenge at AiFactory is: Christmas in July! So...let's see your Christmas creations! It's never too early to start! The holiday will be here before we know it! For my card I used this cute image from the AiVault store here called, "Let's sing a Merry Song". I used kraft paper for my card and "faux" stitched around the edges. My image was printed on Georgia Pacific card stock and cut into the scalloped circle using my Spellbinder die. I used a sheer ribbon to decorate the top and Stickles to give the image a lot of glitz! Colored with Copics. My sentiment is a retired SU stamp. Why don't you go over to the challenge blog and check out all of the other creations and then give it a try? You just might be our next winner! Have a great day everyone!
P.S. The DT call has been extended for a couple more weeks so why not fill out the application while you are there too?!

Stamp-n-Doodle Challenge
I just found this challenge and of course the deadline is 11:59 PM tonight! I made my card using the image that they were giving away for you to use. Isn't this the sweetest? It's called, "Lazy Summer Days". The challenge was to add blue, sparkle, and embossing. I used a paper that is already embossed and has glitter on it...so it made this card all the quicker to finish! I colored this using Sharpie and Copic markers. I do love how it turned out though! The challenge can be found here. I will definitely try their challenge again...and hopefully will give myself more time! lol!

Have a Mice Day!
Another awesome digital image from Faith! This week Designed 2 Delight gave this cute image to work with. I used a new Spellbinders pendant set that I just bought yesterday to frame it with. I love how it turned out. I also used a green marker to "faux" stitch around the border of the white card. For the Double Delight challenge this week, you were to use buttons and a bit of blue... I got a little carried away and made blue the main background...cause I thought it looked the best to bring attention to the center of the flower... I added a button with craft thread in the middle of the flower. To be honest...I forgot about the buttons when I first did this card...look below...
But I was able to rectify the situation by adding some. And I guess it looks like one of the cards in the Paper Crafts magazine. You know... when they show you the first card...simply done and then they "take it up a notch"? My card with the buttons certainly took it up a notch! I like how it turned out. Thanks for looking and be sure to leave me some lovin'. Have a great week everyone!

Orange You The Best!
Another card done with a lovely image from Doodle Pantry.I did a rather simple card to show off this image. I think it should take "center stage". What do you think? I stamped my background paper using a a background stamp from SU. The brown paper is from Quick Quotes. The bee was a rub on from my stash. Go on over to Doodle Pantry and pick up some fruit today! It is low in calories and won't stay on your hips! lol! Have a great Friday everyone and leave me some lovin'!

Just "Chicken'ing" You Out!
Another awesome image from Designed 2 Delight this week! Faith sent me this darling little chicken to use!
This image was fun to color and I popped up parts of each bird by printing them each twice and cutting out the sections that I wanted to pop up. I also took the image and flipped it so the one chicken became two; facing each other and "gabbing" like good friends would do!
This card is being entered in Double Delight too! The challenge is to use this image from Designed 2 Delight and "pop" it up! Thanks for the great challenge!

AiFactory "Green With Envy" Challenge
The challenge this week at AiFactory is entitled "Green with Envy". This challenge is to recycle objects and include them in your card, creation, etc. For my creation I made a mini album with pockets for journaling tags, etc. I used empty toilet paper rolls, cardboard from a box and the cardboard sleeves that Panera Bread slips over their coffee cups (so you don't burn your hands).I also used pieces of white cloth "rope" that were tying some chairs together in a box that came with a table &chair set my daughter bought. I pretty much like to re-use and re-purose whatever I can! My papers are from We R the Memory Keepers. My images are from AiFactory and can be found here.

AiFactory Challenge # 42
This week at AiFactory we were given some clip art to make a creation with. The theme was "red, white, & blue" in honor of July 4th. Here is my card:
I used the clip art from this cute set: Stars and Stripes Elements Set.I only used three different elements from the set. The eagle and Sentiment are from another company and the set is called Patriotic Eagle . I used card stock from Coordinations and jewels from Michael's. As always; I have colored the image (eagle) with copic markers.
Such an easy way to whip up a card or scrapbook layout when you use clip art! Go on over to AiFactory and check out the challenge along with the other DT projects you will find there! Have a great 4th of July everyone! We will celebrate at our 2nd home in Pennsylvania along with 30 other family members coming from as far away as North Carolina and Nevada! This week Charisma Cardz Challenge has a challenge to use "metal" on your creation.I did this card using a set from AiFactory. They are the proud sponsors of the challenge this week! Isn't that cool!? The winner of the challenge will win some goodies from AiFactory...and who doesn't like "goodies"? Go on over to Charizma to get all the info on the challenge, then give it a go!
My card was done byusing a Stampin' Up wheel to do my background pattern on yellow card stock. I colored with my Copic markers, and then added a strip of "metal looking" words to the sentiment.
