I have used a Doodle Pantry image and sentiment for my card. The checkered background is actually gift wrap! The image was already in color (great time saver for those who need a card quickly). My other paper from my huge scrap pile. I distressed the edges of the sentiment added a few buttons, some butcher's twine and a cute little punched out heart.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. Only 2 more days then I am off on Holiday with a very good friend. (Leaving the Hubby home this time...lol!)

Why does seeing a pic make me want watermelon - and I don't have any - will be on my grocery list for tomorrow - love these crazy ants and their watermelon, great job.

Wow...thanks for the memories. I remember those summer days too...and having to be home when the street lights came on. Such a wonderful card to celebrate those memories. Your brother will love it!
