This month at Lia Stampz our challenge is:
Challenge number: #22
Challenge theme: Birthday
Deadline: August 15, 2012
I used this sweet image of a bunny with balloon...
If you happen to see a color theme for my last three posts...you are right! I love this orange and white dotted paper by Recollections and am trying to use it all up! My image was colored with Copic markers. I used a Spellbinder die to cut it out and the pink base behind it. I used a piece of that fav paper to cut out for the balloon which is popped up on foam tape. My flower was made with a combo of Prima flowers and a brad. Two pieces of paper and a ribbon and it was finished off with 2 different SU stamps. Oh yeah...my base is an orange piece of card stock from SU and I placed a smaller piece of tan paper in front of it. Phew...! I guess a lot of things went into this one little card! haha!
Check out the challenge at Lia Stampz and then try your hand at it. You could be the winner of this sweet image! If you can't wait you can go to Whimsey stamps and buy it now.Have a great week everyone!

Anything Goes
This week our challenge at Critter Sketch is, "Anything Goes" ! I love these challenges the best! For my card I used an image by Robyn's Fetish. My sentiment is from the dollar bin at Michael's.
Isn't that the cutest sunflower ever? Just seeing that smile on her makes me smile too! How about you? I hope your week is full of sunshine!

Lemons...or Lemonade!
I wanted to share an image from Doodle Pantry with all of you today. This sweet image is one of the colored images (and sentiment) from a set called "Lemon Ants".
I used kraft paper as my card base. The cute orange paper is from Recollections. The green paper from Stampin' Up. My image and background border were cut out using a Spellbinder die. I popped that up on some foam tape to give it a little more dimension. A green ribbon (Michael's) and three buttons with an orange polka dotted ribbon thrown in and my card was done!
I am so excited as the new images are coming out on August 1st! I bet you are excited too!
My hubby had a complete knee replacement this last week and is doing wonderfully! He came home yesterday and starts some pretty aggressive physical therapy tomorrow. It will be well worth it though as he will be able to get around like "Steve Austin" (the 6 million dollar man...haha!).
Have a great week everyone!
I would like to enter the following challenges:

Pan Pastel - Schools Out or Buttons & bows

Christmas in July!
This week Mary over at CARDZ TV has a Christmas in July challenge. You must use an animal on your card. I used my Cricut Expression and the Winter Woodland cartridge to make my card. Everything was cut at 2 1/4". I used the branch, bird and the "Peace" word. I really like how it turned out! I did non traditional Christmas colors. My herringbone paper is from Recollections. The copper paper for the branch was a scrap as were the papers that I used for my bird. A little white gel pen doodling,3 buttons and a ribbon complete the card.
It was nice to "think cool" when the temps here today reached the high 80's!
Have a great week everyone! I start back to work tomorrow after a nice 2 week break. It will be nice to see the children again as I have missed them!
I would like to enter the following challenges:

"Bee" in the Spotlight!
This week at Jellypark Friends we were asked to "spotlight" one of the adorable images available for you to buy. This darling "Bee" image...I decided to use my Cricut and the Create a Critter cartridge and make a camera to use with this card. I cut out the camera from the cartridge at 3" and put all of the layers together. Then I colored the image and picked out some designer papers to put it all together. I used my computer for the words on the card. I thought since the image was the "star" and in the "spotlight" that I would make a card that presented her that way! She is having a "photo shoot"!
Here is my finished card...
Go on over to Jellypark Friends and check out all of the great creations that the design team have made using this image. I think you will want to add this "bee" to your collection!
I would like to enter the following challenges:

Summertime...
Hi everyone. I can't believe that tomorrow is already the 4th of July... Where have the days gone?
Today I would like to share a couple of cards that I have created using my Cricut. I hope you like them! I also wanted to share a photo of the "end of year" gifts that I made for my co-workers.
This first card was created using the "Nifty Fifties" cartridge and the "Doodlecharm" one. There is a challenge over at Cricut Challenge to show a summertime theme and I think nothing says it better then food! lol! I used washi tape along the bottom and also added a few jewels. My sentiment was created with my computer.
This next card was done using scraps of paper that one of my co-workers gave me after she finished using them. Such pretty papers that I knew I had to use them! I created the circles by punching out 4 circles for each one of the embellishments; distressed and folded each circle in half then formed a new circle with them. My green cardstock is from Stampin' Up. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. A few buttons, brads, jewels and and an action wobble for the hippo and it was done.
The next two photos are what I did with store bought jams. I loved these little bottles (and they were on sale at $1 each!) and knew I could make them look cuter and more personalized. I cut tags and the fruit images out of my "Preserves" cartridge. I don't remember what cartridge I used for the top... I stamped "thank you" on one tag and wrote a message on the second one. I used hemp cord to tie them around the top. They were a hit!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Cricut Cardz Challenge #111 - Summertime
Craft your Passion - Grillin' and Chillin' (My first card)
Crafty Bloggers Network - Anything Goes
Paper Pretties - Summer fun (1st and 2nd cards)

Getting Cricky _ Summer Celebration (1st & 2nd cards)
Cookin' with Cricut - It's Hot out There! (My 2nd card...hippo with ice cream cone!)

Happy July Everyone!
Today is the beginning of July and boy did I wake up to a mess! For some reason "Blogger" decided that my blog was spam and deleted it! What fun I had figuring out how to restore it...Hopefully it worked and you are viewing it right now!
Anywho... Today starts a new release over at Doodle Pantry and I wanted to share my creations with you.
I made 2 cards using 2 of the new releases. The first one is called "Mini Bethlehem" and my card has a 'Southwestern" feel to it...It comes with digital papers and the sweet image (both line outline and colored). I used Quirky Turkey digital paper for my background and then added a band of paper from the new set. My image was then placed over it. (All done in Photoshop). I added a Sissix die cut star.
My second card is from the new set called, "Balloon Birdie". Oh how I love this sweet bird! I hand colored this time and then used my Cricut to cut out the sun using two different sizes and popping the smaller one up over the bigger one. Both were run through my Cuttlebug using the swiss dot folder and then inked around the edges. The sentiment is one from the set.
Make sure to go over to Doodle Pantry and check out their new challenge for the month too. You will receive a new image to work with for the challenge! This image is only available for a short time though so make sure to check it out!
I would like to enter the following challenges with one or both of my cards:
Chocolate Coffee, and Cards - Anything Goes
Fat Pages and Cards with Attitude - Anything Goes
OSAAT - Use a digi
Paper Shelter - #70 -Punches/or dies
Perfect Sentiments - Here Comes the Sun (my 2nd card)
Scrapalicious - What do you do in the Summer? (2nd card)
