Tag...You're It!

The challenge for today at Modern Sugar Blvd is to use a tag anywhere on your card with any MSB image. I used a tag I made with all the cool things I love about vacation! The images I used were from the Fun In The Sun accessories. Why don't you check out all the other Sugars' cards then hop on over to Modern Sugar Blvd and give it a whirl. You just might win 2 free images! Have a super Saturday everyone. My oldest son turned 21 today! Happy birthday Jim... We love you!

Another Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge...On Friday!

I just finished another card using the Tuesday Morning Sketch for this week. Aren't these chickens just too funny?! They were a freebie from Digi Shack. I love being able to use up little bits of papers that I have hanging around in my scrap box and this sketch used 4 different papers! Yahoo! Joni from Inktegrity is sponsoring Mel's challenge this week so give it a try, and maybe you'll be the lucky winner of some slamming digital images from Joni...It's a "win/win" situation don't ya think?!
Just click on my title bar above to go magically to Tuesday Morning Sketches. (Isn't the magic of the internet amazing?!)

Relax...Just Do It!

I received this image from DigiShack ...(I think!) and am just getting around to using it now! I used the waxed paper technique with the divine swirls folder for my Cuttlebug to make the background paper. What a cool technique! Gina K's blog has a tutorial on it if you want to check it out. I used copics and chalk to color my image. The work circle was from a freebie sheet of words from (Digi Shack I think) another digital freebie. I guess I really need to start writing down where I get these digital images from...I am going to send this card to my sister Marcia who just retired as a principal of an elementary school outside of Boston. I hope she likes it...

Tuesday Morning Sketches

This is a new site that one of my fellow Sugars has started. Melissa has an awesome sketch for this week, and her examples from her DT rock! Hop on over( just click on the heading of this post) and give it a try! I know I plan on doing more than 1 card with this sketch...it's a keeper!

We Go Together...Ram a lam a ding dong...

That song from Grease has been in my head ever since I was sent the new images.Once I saw the bacon and egg with the "we go together" wording I have been really hankering to watch Grease and eat a lot of breakfast! LOL! Definately not the best food for the diet that I am trying to stick with! But... At least I can "ink them up". No calories there!
These are just 3 of the new images that will be released on Thursday :
1.) the race car on track
2.) Sports Mamma
3.) Bacon & egg with the sentiment
I just love all three of them! I hope you do too. Head on over to Modern Sugar Blvd. and check out all the other new releases! Oh; don't forget to play in the challenge this coming Saturday for your chance to win two images!

MSB Weekly Challenge

Well it's another Saturday here at MSB and that means another challenge day. But today isn't just any Saturday, it's the 4th of July! So happy Independence Day everyone! The challenge today is to use red, white, and blue on your card. That's it! My card was done using the digital image USA Rocks! I love how she is showing her flag so proudly. Freedom is something a lot of us take for granted never fully realizing how blessed we are to live in a country as wonderful as ours. I couldn't even begin to imagine living where you had no freedom... So, when you see that flag march by in a parade today; think about everything it stands for and the people who made that happen! Happy Independence Day!

I won this cute little Dorothy Anya digital image from my friend Jacquie over at Javablustamper
for leaving her a comment...Isn't that cool? Leave a comment on someone's blog and you might just win something cool! (I would have left her a comment even w/o the blog candy offer, cause her blog rocks) Anyway... here is my first card made with Dorothy Anya and her cutie puppy...What do you think? Leave me some lovin' !
