This time around at CardzTV our challenge is for you to create a "Winter Card" using either one of the sketches below:
Here is what I have created using sketch # 7
What I love about using Mary sketches is that they are a great "starting point" to make me think "outside" the normal designs. I took the basic idea of the sketch and just "tweaked" it a bit to where I liked how it looked!
My snowman and sentiment were done using the stamp set called, "Winter Cheer" from Cardz TV and the Penguin was done using the stamp set" Just Chillin" from CardzTV. I used some embossing powder for the sentiment to give it a nice raised effect and also embossed the three small snowflakes around the sentiment.(Also from the stamp set).
My papers are from Recollections.I used my Cuddlebug and a Darice embossing folder to make the blue "dotted swiss" background.
Please check out all of the other great cards at CardzTV and then give our challenge a try. It is so much fun!
Have a blessed weekend everyone...
Paper Possibilities..."Toadily Handmade" A place to come and visit with me and maybe learn a thing or two! So pull up a chair and grab a cup of "Joe" and enjoy your visit! Come back often and see what's new... " But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."
